Built for people who feel stuck.
If any of these sound like you, this is for you:
- You have bad, thin, or no credit. You've been turned down, or you're afraid to apply because you'll be turned down again.
- You're overwhelmed by credit apps. You opened Credit Karma or Experian, saw a wall of offers, and closed it.
- You're skeptical of paid services that overpromise outcomes. For good reason. You want educational guidance, not a $99/month subscription that disappears.
- You have a real goal. A card to breathe. An apartment for your family. A car for work. A house, eventually.
Goals we plan for first
- Credit card
- Apartment
- Car
- House
Why this exists.
I built ReadyForCredit because I'm the user. I have bad credit. I wanted a credit card partly to catch up on bills and have room to breathe. Every tool I tried either tried to sell me something or buried me in articles. I needed someone to just tell me what to do this week. So I'm building it. — The founder
Common questions
Do you dispute items or contact bureaus for me?
No. ReadyForCredit is educational guidance and planning support. We don't dispute items, contact bureaus on your behalf, or make promises about your score. We help you understand your situation and take clearer next steps.
Will it hurt my credit?
Using ReadyForCredit doesn't pull your credit and doesn't change your score. The plan we give you is designed to reduce risky actions (like applying for cards you're likely to be denied for) rather than create them.
Do I need to connect my bank?
No. V1 is intentionally simple: no Plaid, no bank connections, no credit bureau integrations. You answer a short quiz; we generate a plan from your answers.
How much does it cost?
Free during early access while we work with the first users to get the plan right. Pricing later will be transparent and posted here before it changes for anyone.
When will I get my first-step plan?
Answer the short questionnaire and we'll email your first-step plan within 24 hours. Free during early access while we work with the first users to get the plan right.
